I was born in Charleston SC and grew up fishing the Shallotte River and surrounding barrier islands of Ocean Isle, Holden and Long Beach.I have been on the water almost my entire life. I worked on an 80 ft shrimp boat during summer vacation in high school and a commercial grouper boat during my college years. Throw in 20 plus years of Professional King Mackerel tournament fishing with my oldest brother Lynn and yes if seems like all my life on the water. The reason I mention this is I have a working knowledge of many different aspects of the ocean and how to fish it. In 2007 I decided to get my Captains license. And begin a charter business out of Southeastern NC. 2007 was an awesome first year for my clients and me and it will only get better. |
