THE VIP IS BACK!!!!! Wednesday, June 8th The Jolly Mon VIP is conceived as a way to enjoy fishing competitively while taking away the many stresses of decision making that often go with competitive fishing. Nobody leaves the dock with live bait and everyone must go to specific coordinates to fish. Capt. Brant will designate the spot, and while there, you must stay within .5 miles of the coordinate. Capt. Brant will call for a move at his discretion and give new coordinates. This will continue until conclusion of fishing at 2pm. This is a 2 fish aggregate competition. Prize money will be awarded to the top 3 finishing teams. *** This is intended to be a fair-weather event. Please monitor OIFC Facebook for updates prior to fishing day.

Capt. Roger Gales was a giver. Every day he spent around the water, he gave his heart, his soul and his knowledge. If you met Roger, you remember. Roger passed away 10/18/18 and left his wife, Darla and 8 year daughter, Paisley. In his final days, Roger's main concern was for the security of his wife and child. Thus, this tournament is designated in memory of Capt. Roger and as a financial support mechanism for his family. 25% of all entries and TWT's received in this event will be kept and paid directly to the Capt. Roger Legacy Fund for his family's benefit. Capt. Roger loved to Wahoo fish; it was his passion. As you plow the seas in search of the next big bite, think about Capt. Roger and other great fishermen who have done the same, and loved it as much as you do. They are certainly looking down on you and waiting for the next strike.
