Capt. Chris Dew
· USCG OUPV Licensed 2004-present
· Current First Aid and CPR Certified
In 1996, after serving with the N.C. Highway Patrol for 13 years in Fayetteville, I transferred to Brunswick County to be near the ocean that I have always loved. My love of the ocean and all of its wonders led me to become a PADI certified scuba diver in 1991. Wanting to learn more and to be a safer diver I achieved the level of Advanced Open Water Diver and then became a PADI certified Rescue Diver as well. I have always loved fishing and boating and in 2004 I earned my USCG Captains License and extended my training in First Aid and CPR. In the same year, I retired from the Highway Patrol and began fulfilling a lifelong dream to pursue a career as a Captain. I really enjoy carrying people out on the ocean in pursuit of their dream fish. I especially enjoy fishing with children and love to watch their faces light up when the big one bites. I do my best to insure a safe and enjoyable trip as well as one that educates people to the wonders of our local waters.
