· USCG OUPV Licensed 2004-present · Current First Aid and CPR Certified In 1996, after serving with the N.C. Highway Patrol for 13 years in Fayetteville, I transferred to Brunswick County to be near the ocean that I have always loved. My love of the ocean and all of its wonders led me to become a PADI certified scuba diver in 1991. Wanting to learn more and to be a safer diver I achieved the level of Advanced Open Water Diver and then became a PADI certified Rescue Diver as well. I have always loved fishing and boating and in 2004 I earned my USCG Captains License and extended my training in First Aid and CPR. In the same year, I retired from the Highway Patrol and began fulfilling a lifelong dream to pursue a career as a Captain. I really enjoy carrying people out on the ocean in pursuit of their dream fish. I especially enjoy fishing with children and love to watch their faces light up when the big one bites. I do my best to insure a safe and enjoyable trip as well as one that educates people to the wonders of our local waters. |

I love to hunt, fish, and participate in all outdoor sports. I began saltwater fishing in my early teens fishing the back waters for flounder and trout. I began working at OIFC during summers while in college and eventually earned my captains license in 2008. I worked as a mate and captain while charter fishing at OIFC. I have been fortunate to work and learn from many talented fishermen at OIFC. I found that I have a love for offshore fishing. I began tournament king mackerel fishing 4 years ago when we upgraded to our present boat. I enjoy the competition and challenges of tournament fishing. I am currently working for Stevens Marine Towing in Charleston, SC. |

He is a young man with a serious love of fishing and committment to being the best. Austin is a very personable young man who is excellent with kids and with beginning fishermen. However, he is as skilled as they come and can guide any level of fishermen to an enjoyable and fruitful fishing adventure. |
Capt. Brad Faulk |

Capt. Brad has been a captain with the Ocean Isle Fishing Center for 3 years. He is the entertainer of the team. He can make friends with a fence post, and it is pretty much a guarantee you will be laughing the entire trip. But, don't take his fun-loving demeanor as a replacement for his fishing skill or intensity. Capt. Brad is a fish killer, and he loves it. |
