Ocean Isle Fishing Center - Retail Store
Sales Associate: Strong communication and customer service skills required. You will need to be proficient in working and operating a WINDOWS based Point of Sale system, have general retail skills, be able to answer/transfer phone calls, communicate effectively via email and text and be able to carry boxes in excess of 30 pounds and climb stairs. Knowledge of and experience with salt water fishing preferred. Pay Rate: $8.50-$10/hr
Ocean Isle Fishing Center - Water Craft Rental
Manager: STRONG communication and customer service skills required. Must have strong leadership skills. Manager is responsible for creating staff schedule, daily paperwork, ensuring equipment is maintained properly, answer phone/make reservations, train new employees, be familiar with equipment operation and handle customer issues ie; accidents/damages to equipment, beaching of equipment, towing of equipment, etc., train new employees, and be familiar with equipment operation. Comfort dealing with disgruntled customers and taking ability to peacefully control a situation required. Pay Rate: $13hr + commission
Reservationist: Must have strong communication and customer service skills. You will be responsible for making sure renters complete legal paperwork correctly, answering phone/ making reservations. Pay Rate: $8.50/hr + commission
Equipment Rental/ Maintenance: Must be familiar with jet ski and boat safe operating procedures and provide instruction to renters. You will be responsible for daily and weekly maintenance on equipment. Knowledge of jet ski and boat operation as well as their general maintenance and up keep preferred. Pay Rate- $9/hr + commission
On-Water Ranger: Must be familiar with jet ski and boat operation. You will be responsible for patrolling the riding area while rental equipment is on the water. Your main job is to keep a watchful eye on the rental equipment in case there was to be an accident. Comfort working on the water required. Pay Rate: $9/hr + commission
Shallotte River Swamp Park (SRSP)
Canopy Tour Guides: Guide guests on 2.5 hour Zipline tour. Provide historical and ecological information to guests. CPR and First Aid required. All guides must complete intensive training provided by SRSP. Comfort working at heights and past experience preferred. Pay Rate: $10-$12/hr + Tips
Aerial Adventure Park Ranger: Monitor guests participating in Aerial Adventure Park. CPR and First Aid required. All Rangers must complete intensive training provided by SRSP. Comfort working at heights and past experience preferred. Pay Rate: $10-$15/hr
Swamp Boat Guide: Guide guests on 2.5 hour Swamp Boat tour. Provide historical and ecological information to guests. CPR and First Aid required. All guides must complete intensive training provided by SRSP. Comfort working on the water and past experience preferred. Pay Rate: $10-$12/hr + tips
Reservation/Retail: Strong communication and customer service skills required. Booking services, checking in guests, and operating Point of Sale system at SRSP. $8.50 - $10/hr
