Our charter boats fishing yesterday reported the following re: conditions for kings:
-water full of stud pogies from Shallotte Inlet to Little River from 6 feet to 20 feet.
-water toward Jungle area still slity[lime green] and dirty[did catch a king there however]
-water in 80 feet looked much better; caught a king there
-cobia a nuisance[only to the king fishermen] they are still thick everywhere
Standby for todays report when the charter boats get back.
Getting ready for Rock the Dock!
That sounds like a perfect job for Captain Rickey!!!!
But Brandon Sauls already has one, David Hudnik. And it seems David knows how to wet a hook. Check out the pictures, they had a few more reds and a flounder. Non of the reds were big enough to knock David's co worker, Johnathan Richey off the OIFC Rodeo Leader Board.
Reminder...the clock is ticking down to the Jolly Mon. The fun begins tomorrow at 9am with "Rock The Dock"!!!! Hope to see ya'll there.
IN STORE PURCHASES ONLY!
Brandon Sauls reports that his fellow coworker at IntracoastalNet Designs Johathan Richey took top place in the OIFC Rodeo with a 7.1 lb redfish. Of course Brandon says it was only possible because the captain was the one and only Bonecrusher.
Great job and fantastic report. Everyone is invited to enter the Rodeo and take part in some of the fun. Jolly Mon anglers, be sure to enter the King Division!!!
As always, if you have a report and pictures you would like to share, send it to me at email@example.com
