Team Motto: Its more than a story - its an event
Ken Ritch-The captain of Team Sea P.A. Ken has been fishing out of Ocean Isle Beach since he was twelve years old. His love for the sport was the direct result of his father and grandparents exposing him to fishing at an early age. During July of 2012, after a long discussion with his son Matt, Ken made the decision to make a commitment to succeed on the tournament trail and thus Team Sea P.A. was borne. Ken and his wife Karen are the proud parents of three children Meredith, Meghan, and Matthew. They are members of the First United Methodist Church in Laurinburg, NC. Additionally, Ken is a member of the Laurinburg Rotary Club and Laurinburg Optimist Club. He graduated from UNC – Chapel Hill and is a certified public accountant. He is a partner in the CPA firm Ritch, Breeden & Company in Laurinburg, NC.
I began fishing when I was very young. My first trip in the ocean was grey trout fishing on my grandfathers boat. Ever since I caught my first king mackeral I have been hooked. My first tournament was the Fall Brawl in 2007. Growing up fishing with my father has been a great experience. I am lucky to be able to say I have had that experience. Summer 2012 I worked as a mate for Capt. Brants fishing adventures and that tremendously increased my saltwater fishing knowledge. I am attending ECU and hoping to go to dental school.
Justin O'Brien- is a member of Team Sea P.A. Justin has been a recreational fisherman since the day he could cast a push button Zebco from shore. He grew up flats fishing in the backcountry of Florida’s Gulf Coast. It wasn’t until he moved to NC that he was introduced to the sport of deep sea fishing, targeting king, mahi, and wahoo. In 2012, he was introduced to tournament fishing by Ken Ritch, Captain of Team Sea P.A. and Justin has learned a lot and thoroughly enjoys it. As a recent graduate of East Carolina University, he moved to Ocean Isle Beach, working as an estimator for WB Properties & Construction.
Jack Donaghue: graduated from West Brunswick High School in 2011, and is currently attending East Carolina University planning on majoring in Business Management. He has spent most of his life on the water but didn't get into saltwater fishing until 2009. His very first King Mackerel tournament was Capt. Brant's Jolly Mon King Classic in Ocean Isle Beach. He began fishing competitively with Matt Ritch in 2012 and quickly became hooked.
Jason Tolar: Jason is the son-in-law of Capt. Ken having married his oldest daughter Meredith in 2011. He grew up frequenting Ocean Isle Beach throughout his childhood.
