Register at the OIFC by 9pm Thursday, June 13th OR print and mail in the entry form OR enter on-line until 11:59pm, Thursday, June 13th.  All registrations must be received before fishing time Friday, June 14th.

Fishing starts at 7am and all fish must be weighed in at the OIFC by 3pm on Friday, June 14th.

Entry Fee:  $25 per Jr. Angler

RULES

1. No fishing with rod and reel before 7am
2. All fish must be weighed in at the OIFC by 3pm
3. Jr. Angler MUST BE THE ANGLER for over 50% of the fight
4. Eligible species- King Mackerel, Cobia, Mahi, Spanish Mackerel
5. Limit one prize per boat
6. If there are multiple Jrs. on board the same boat, all Jrs. will be recognized and the prize split up equally.

1st- King Mackerel- $500 savings bond, 2nd- King Mackerel- $300 savings bond, 3rd- King Mackerel- $200 savings bond

CAPTAIN'S CHOICE FORMAT-  Fish 1 out 2 days- EITHER Saturday, October 12th or Sunday, October 13th.  Declare your intended fish day on your registration form or you have until 7:00am on Saturday, October 12th to call (910) 253-3474 and leave a message declaring your fish day.  -If you do not declare a fish day, Saturday, October 12th, will automatically be counted as your fish day.

The Fall Brawl King Classic brings fishermen and their families together for great food, fun and fishing.  Entertainment is provided during the Capt. Meeting in the form of the Spot Derby and Cast Net throwing contest while great, food is served compliments of Fall Brawl sponsors and staff.  The Fall Brawl is not only special for its attention to family involvment, it just so happens to be held when King Mackerel fishing is at its peak.  Every year the tournament is won within sight of land, and on several occasions by boats less than 23 feet.  It truly is a great time to fish area and why not join in the competition and give yourself a shot at winning a piece of the over $35,000 in prize money awarded. 

 The Fall Brawl is also proud to support the Long Bay Artificial Reef Association.

ENTRY can be done by the boat OR by the person.  A blanket boat entry that covers anyone who fishes on the boat can be purchased for $60- PER SPECIES.  OR, a single person entry can be purchased for $20- PER SPECIES. 

AN ENTRANT CAN WIN ONLY ONE PLACE PER SPECIES

A Rodeo fish may be weighed in up until 12PM of the day after capture.  This will allow boats fishing offshore to fish late, with no pressure to be in to weigh-in.

ANGLER OF THE YEAR- a new inshore and offshore Angler of the Year division has been added with a separate entry fee of $100.  The winner from each division is determined by getting points 3rd= 1 point, 2nd= 2 points, 1st= 3rd within each species' division(Points are only awarded for finishing in the top 3 of any eligible species). 

• Registration:  Reopens April 1, 2013 and continues open until December 31, 2013
• How to Register:  Registration is available by phone, or in person at the OIFC- print off an entry form from this site.

• Prizes:  1st, 2nd, and 3rd place prizes will be awarded to angler's who catch the heaviest fish for each eligible species. * A boat  or person may win only one place in a division.
• Eligible Species:  Flounder, Speckled Trout, Redfish, King Mackerel, Dolphin,  Wahoo.
• Payout:  Each species will have it's own pot and prizes will be paid out accordingly- 1st-50%, 2nd-30%, 3rd-20%.  Pot sizes will updated periodically on this website and on the leaderboard at the OIFC.  Angler of the year will be a winner take all from each division.

        *** 1/2 of the entry fee goes toward the prize money and 1/2 goes towards trophies.  NO money is kept by the OIFC for administrative.....
