Sure we're out there to have fun and enjoy ourselves, but at the same time when the next bite can be worth $$$ thousands of dollars $$$, there is certainly an added air of anticipation. And when the reel does go off and its time to go to work, the excitement is increased 10 fold.

The Far Out Shoot Out is hosted by the Ocean Isle Fishing Center. It is a Gulf Stream tournament that targets Yellowfin Tuna, Wahoo and Dolphin. The tournament format provides fishing 2 out of 3 days, and if you decide to participate by booking one of our boats, we will block 3 days off our charter calendar so that you can choose to fish the 2 best days out of the 3 we have blocked off-- total cost= $1575 per day + $500 entry fee= $3650
