This line of reels are the best baitcasters we've found. All have a gold anodized aluminum frame for corrosion resistance and strength, an extremely smooth freespool and drag system, and a level-wind to simplify backwater fishing. As far as perfomance goes, it's all about control. Casting represents backwater fishing at its highest form, and Shimano Calcuttas are the tools of the trade.
