This net is absolutely perfect for catching Pogies 90% of the time. Capt. Brant designed this net to sink fast, yet not be so heavy it wears you out. However, the real bonuses are #1, the 1 1/4" mesh doesn't gill small baits that you may encounter in the waterway or in the early season and #2, the lead core lead line is semi-rigid which makes it spread particularly well when thrown.
