The Atlantic Bonito is a small tuna that is typically 5-10 pounds. It is often confused with its close relatives, the False Albacore and Little Tunny. However, unlike the False Albacore and Little Tunny, the Atlantic Bonito is exceptionally good to eat with meat that is very comparable to Yellowfin Tuna. The Atlantic Bonito will be found in water temperatures ranging from 58-66 degrees and they are most easily distinguished by their dark lateral stripes and they have teeth, unlike the Albacore and Tunny. | |
