Jon Bos, (Balloon Fisher King), with his family and friends joined us again for another tournament adventure. The fish are still biting so don't miss the opportunity to get in on this great fall action. Sent from my iPhone

The meeting was a success with a great meal by Brian Strickland of Guy C Lee and a great turnout. The fish are here, the bait is thick and the weather is predicted to be beautiful. This all points to a fantastic Tournament. Good luck and tight lines everyone.
Miriam Clark and Ginny Myers joined me for a half day afternoon trip. Black drum, redfish, trout, and sheepshead were all biting. I do believe these ladies had a blast! I have a backwater class coming up in November, if you are interested there is only one spot left. Call now 910 575 3474.

This is Aaron Edwards and his first flounder caught from Benny Hipp's Dock. He released this big boy. Great fish Aaron!
They say close only counts in horseshoes and hand grenades??That was definitely not the case today with this 35.63 pounder we caught today during the Marlin Quay Marina shootout which was beat out of first by only a couple ounces. We landed in second place which we are still very happy about! Maybe next time! Back at it next weekend for the Fall Brawl Classic. Also congratulations to "The Law" for winning the tournament. Now we are all warmed up for the Fall Brawl
After day one Tradk Cunningham of the Scale Bound from Cherry Grove is in the lead. Trask reported windy conditions and a slow bite.
