Capt. Brant is recognized as one of the area's top King Mackerel tournament fishermen, competing in no less than 20 events per year and competing annually in the Southern Kingfish Association National Championship since 1994.  Capt. Brant directs the Far Out Shoot Out bluewater rodeo, Jolly Mon King Classic, Fall Brawl King Classic and Thanksgiving Flounder/Trout rodeo- both the Jolly Mon and Fall Brawl are recognized as two of the southeast's largest fishing tournaments.  Capt. Brant also writes a weekly fishing report for the local "Brunswick Beacon" and is a regular contributor to regional and national publications; he has also been recognized by nationally by Saltwater Sportsman and Sport Fishing Magazine as a top-rated regional guide for his area.  Capt. Brant has also been featured on several saltwater fishing shows including South Carolina Outdoors and Outdoor Moments.
